We have three Burros, two we adopted in 1985 through the National Organization for Wild American Horses (HOWAH). They were rescued by helicopter from Death Vally National Monument where they had ougrown their food supply and were being shot to reduce the herd size. They arrived to Tennessee in terrible shape, but after a few weeks of love and good nutrition they turned out to be wonderful pets. We named them "Sulfa" and "Yoda".
