The Indoor arena is our pride and joy since it allows us to ride throughout the year. It is a pole building and it is not completely enclosed which makes it cooler in the summer. It is 60x100 feet, which makes it smaller than a small dressage arena, but large enought to work on most movements. The footing is sand and we have a sprinkler system to keep it moist and reduce the dust.
The arena has a small viewing area which houses an old piano, Yes! I can ride while Angela plays some beautiful melodies. I found out is seems to have a calming effect on the horses!
The arena is lighted, so it is possible to ride anytime a day.
